Staying at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center from Monday, December 9th and checking out on Wednesday, December 11th should provide plenty of time to participate in the full schedule of events.

Group Room Rates

The Gaylord Opryland NVSBE group room rate for single/double occupancy rooms is $223.00/room/night (government per diem rate).  Applicable taxes will apply unless guest provides Tennessee Sale or Use Tax Government Certificate of Exemption at check-in (currently 9.25% State Tax, 6% Occupancy Tax).  Subject to availability, group rates will apply three (3) days prior to, and three (3) days following, the dates of the event. Each additional person to a room is $20.00.

NVSBE 2019 Housing Policy: Please note that all registration fees include a $200 discount for attendees who stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center within the official NVSBE 2019 room block.

Attendees that have not booked a hotel room in the official NVSBE 2019 room block will be
charged $200 to their credit card on file immediately following the conference.

The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center was chosen as the venue for the 2019 National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE) because offers attendees a truly extraordinary experience.  We believe that attendees will enjoy the unique opportunity to attend the 2019 NVSBE scheduled events, while also being able to stay, dine, shop, and take advantage of everything the Gaylord Opryland has to offer all within the same exceptional luxury facility.

We are pleased to offer all attendees both a discounted event registration fee and a very competitive government per diem room rate which we are able to offer to all NVSBE attendees, whether they are a government, non-profit, or industry participant.  Government per diem rate for Nashville in December is $223 per room per night.  This negotiated NVSBE group rate is discounted below the advertised standard room rate (which starts at $264 per night and goes up depending on room type) or Marriott Rewards Member rate (which starts at $259 per night and goes up depending on room night).  In order to offer this competitive room rate and keep registration costs comparable with previous NVSBE pricing, we needed to commit to a large room block at the Gaylord Opryland for the duration of the event.  As such, it is important for us to ensure every room within our room block is filled.

While attendees can certainly choose to stay at other hotels in Nashville, they will be required to pay the additional registration pricing in order to offset the additional costs the NVSBE event organizers would pay for unused hotel rooms at the Gaylord Opryland.  They will also be responsible for their own transportation between the hotel they choose and the Gaylord Opryland, plus any applicable parking fees.  More importantly, we believe that a decision to stay anywhere else other than the Gaylord Opryland will truly limit the full experience and enjoyment of NVSBE attendees because they will not be able to benefit from all of the amazing amenities that this luxury resort has to offer.

For those attendees who would prefer to use their Marriott Rewards Membership to either obtain a room at a discounted Member rate or to use their Rewards Points to reserve their room at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, they are certainly welcome to do so without incurring the additional $200 registration fee.  They must reserve their own room through the Marriott reservations website or phone number (rooms and rates will be depending on availability as determined by the Gaylord Opryland).
